Slow Cooker Spiced Mulled Wine with Pomegranates.

Slow Cooker Spiced Mulled Wine with fresh orange slices and pomegranate seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 6 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 star anise pods
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 orange
  • 1 pomegranate

Instructions

  1. Gently heat spices for a few minutes.

  2. Add the bottle of wine to heated spices and stir until the ground spices are incorporated. 

  3. Warm wine for about an hour, or longer if needed.

  4. Serve with fresh orange slices and pomegranate seeds.
